Welcome to the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Website
"Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." - Romans 15:7
Through this web site, we are pleased to be able to introduce you to that same worship and fellowship as it is expressed in the life of our Parish. If you are a new member of our parish, or are considering membership, these web pages will acquaint you with what our parish offers to those who give it support and sustenance; to those who already belong to the church, we hope they will provide you with the assurance that your sacrificial offerings are received with profound respect, and are utilized to maximum effectiveness. They will, in any case, enable you to make the informed decisions that are necessary for a meaningful relationship with your church!
Update as of 4/14/2021
Please note the REGISTRATION PROCESS below for Church Services.
FOR ALL SERVICES there will be a sign in sheet upon entering the church.
You will be asked for your name and a contact number. You will also be asked for the number of family members who are attending church with you. It is important that you print legibly when signing in. If you have difficulty a Parish Council Member will gladly assist.
Since pew space will still be limited even with the loosened restrictions, we ask that you please follow all Parish Council Members instructions as they assist with seating and spacing to keep us compliant with COVID guidelines during these services.
We are advising you show up at least 15 minutes before the start of each service. Once we are at capacity, we may not be able to provide a space for you and your family in the church.
If you are unable to attend the services and would like to light a Virtual Candle for yourself, a family member or friend you can do so by using this link to light your candle.
Sundays: Orthros (Matins): 9:00 AM | Divine Liturgy: 10:00 AM - Registration, masks and social distancing are required.
For the short term, services will continue to be streamed on Facebook.
During these uncertain times it is important to stay informed and email is a great way to stay in touch with the church. If you are not receiving emails from the church, please send you name, a contact number and your email address to the church office to be added to our email list.
For weekday services, please contact our Church office by calling 410-661-1090 ext 202.
Thank you for your continued love and support.
